I have been diagnosed with HIV, and Hepatitis B and C. I am on a strict regimented daily intake of three HIV drugs (Crixivan, Stavudine and Lamivudine). Although these drugs have saved my life, I suffer terrible side effects from them. I get headaches, I am unable to eat, and my sleep pattern is so disrupted that I suffer from extreme fatigue.

Before I joined the BC Compassion Club Society, my weight was 94 pounds, my viral load count was 1 million parts/mm, and my T-cell count was below 100. I was very close to death and unable to take my medication, eat or sleep.

After I joined the Compassion Club and began to use cannabis on a daily basis, things began to change. It has now been 18 months since I joined the Compassion Club. My weight is up to 121 pounds, my viral load count is undetectable, and my T-cell count is over 400. This improvement is due to the fact that using cannabis allows me to eat and to take my pills without experiencing side effects.

I have never felt better in my life and everyone including my doctor are absolutely amazed at my recovery from this deadly disease. Thanks to the support of my friends at home and at the Compassion Club, I now have hope happiness and health.
