The BCCCS quality standards for medicinal cannabis ensure that our medicine is clean, potent and of the highest quality.

The BCCCS upholds the highest standards when procuring medicine for our members. All of our cultivators comply with our quality standards for medicinal cannabis, including products used, cultivation and curing techniques.

When purchasing cannabis from our suppliers, we carefully inspect for molds, mildews and fungus.  Samples are also sent to a laboratory for microbiological testing. Pesticide and heavy metal testing is also a priority for the BCCCS.

Our preference is for organically grown cannabis - cannabis grown without any chemical pesticides and fertilizers. Any product on our menu that is not 100% organic  is well flushed, and must meet all of our quality standards.
